Dear Children,

            Before I came on this beautiful island of Malta me and my elves use to live in the north pole but since the ice was beginning to melt because of the greenhouse effect, we had to move and I started searching for another place were we could set up so my elves can work, by coincidence I met my good old friend Popeye who invited me to setup in his village “Popeye Village” in Mellieha in the year 2002.

            My Village was setup by re-furbishing and re-decorating the existing rooms which were used for the Film Popeye. My village consisted of five rooms but in 2004 a new room was built where my reindeers had a barn built for them and Rudolph was very happy with his new home. In the year 2005 another room was added and we named it ‘the Leisure and Fitness Parlour’.

            Now I will explain how my village is divided since in all the rooms there is different work going on. We will go through all the process of how my elves work to build and make all the toys that all you children will receive on Christmas eve.

            In the first room we find the mail and design section were the post master and his helpers open and select the large number of letters that they receive from children all over the world with different wishes, they then pass the list to the other side of the room were we find the design section who’s job is to design all the different toys so the other elves would know how to build the toys. In the design section you can see one of the magical machines I have given the elves so they make the designs faster.

            In the second room we find the carpentry and the toy assembly section. Large machinery is used in this room together with all the carpenter elves all giving a hand so they can keep the production of the toys on time for Christmas. Finally you can see the finished toys being taken into the next room by a giant conveyer.

             The third room is the place where all the toys are painted, I have installed a magical machine were the paint will never finish and flows all the time. In this room we also find the quality control section where there are two elder elves that see that all the toys are of good quality before they go for distribution. In this section we also find the elves that stitch up all the soft toys and other material for other toys needed for me to deliver on Christmas eve.  

            The fourth room consists of the dining room and the dormitory of the elves, you can see some of my elves having lunch or dinner and some of them sleeping or having fun by playing some games they have in the room. The DJ is situated in this room so all the elves can relax and enjoy themselves with the music he plays.

            The Fifth room which is new for this year “The Leisure and Fitness Centre” which includes a Sauna, Jacuzzi, massage tables, gym equipment and a fruit bar apart from various other new things. In this room you can see how the elves train and keep themselves fit so they can work all year round.

            In the sixth room we find all the reindeers including Rudolph who are resting so that when I need them on Christmas Eve they will be ready to carry me all around the world with the heavy load of toys.
