Popeye Village - Mellieha Malta

The Film Set itself is a unique location on the island where you can find this Picturesque Village for those who want a complete different and impressive venue for their clients. Various Companies and agents visiting the island have included this Original Film Set in various ways for events that the clients will never forget.

The Film set is located in Anchor Bay, Mellieha in the northern part of the Island.

Our company for the past twelve years has been catering for all types of Events, functions and activities for incentive groups with most Direct Management Companies.

Various areas of The Film Set can be used for different functions and activities including casual BBQ Lunches and Dinners and can be in its own way transformed in various themes such as a Pirate Village, Traditional Village Festa Theme & Western Village. Animators can be used to greet the groups as they arrive in the Village all dressed up as Popeye Characters.

The company can also organize fruit Stops, Bar Setups and coffee Stops at The Film Set where the clients come for a treasure Hunt in the Village and then we provide refreshments.

The Clients can also access The Film Set by sea, big boats or small Luzzu's can disembark on our pier but normally when they arrive with big boats we have smaller boats waiting to transfer them to the Film Set.

Team Building Activities can also be organised in the Film Set where various areas can be setup to accommodate different games.
The catering can be in-house or outside catering.

The film set can also be hired exclusively for a group but the rate is worked according to the day requested.

Locations
Situated on the left hand side whilst going down into the Film Set the Roughhouse is the main indoor hall in which most functions are held, it is situated just five meters from the sea and there is a spectacular view of Anchor Bay and the Film Set itself from the inside.

The hall is constructed out of wood so as to be one and the same as the other Wooden Huts in the Film Set. The Hall can accommodate groups of various sizes with a maximum of 220 people in long tables of twenty with two buffet setups inside and BBQ Setup outside. All doors in the façade facing the sea can be opened and the guests can relax whilst having their lunch and dinner in a unique atmosphere and view. In the roughhouse there is also a small stage which can accommodate a small band or Dj to entertain the guests during their stay in the Film Set. This hall with its unique set up can be transformed into various themes.

Just opposite we have the seafarers Snack bar which has an open air veranda that can accommodate another 100 pax seated for lunch or dinner half the platform is covered with a wooden roof and the other half can be covered by small tents, this area can be used either for small groups or as part of a bigger group that cannot be accommodated all in the roughhouse.
